Compare

Shopping around? Good.

An honest look at how Fulton Platform stacks up against Owner.com, ChowNow, and BentoBox on fees, setup, your-domain websites, direct pickup ordering, and rewards — including what we don’t do yet.

How we compare

Use the dimensions below to frame a sales call with any vendor. We cite public pages and independent reviews on each vs page; where we could not confirm a number, we say so instead of inventing one.

  • Fees and pricing shape

Fulton Platform publishes one month-to-month plan: $149/month + 2% Fulton Rewards contribution — and nothing added to guests’ checks. The 2% is a Fulton Rewards contribution, shown as its own line; Fulton Rewards itself is coming. Competitors often mix monthly plans, setup fees, guest-facing order fees, or ordering add-ons; exact numbers change, so treat third-party quotes as “check their site” and compare the fee shape, not a screenshot from last year.

  • Setup and contracts

Fulton Platform has no setup fee and stays month to month. Some restaurant platforms are reported to charge one-time setup or longer commitments. If you want to try direct ordering without a long lock-in, that difference matters as much as the sticker price.

  • Your-domain websites

The Fulton Platform plan includes a restaurant website on your own domain: menu, hours, story, and ordering under your brand. Owner.com and ChowNow also sell branded sites; BentoBox is known for polished websites, with online ordering often treated as a separate add-on in public write-ups. Ask who edits the site day to day, and whether guests stay on your URL when they order.

  • Direct pickup ordering

Fulton Platform focuses on pickup ordering from your site today — guests customize dishes with your modifiers and send tickets to your kitchen. Live card payments and delivery are still coming. Owner.com, ChowNow, and BentoBox generally have more of the payment and delivery stack live; if you need those this month, they may be further along. If you want a clear direct-ordering path without marketplace commissions on the order itself, compare that scope honestly.

  • Rewards and repeat guests

Fulton Platform includes rewards points and promo codes so regulars earn and redeem on your restaurant — not on a marketplace wallet. Loyalty and review tools vary widely by competitor plan; some bundle them, some sell them separately, and some leave details behind a sales call. Prefer products that keep guest history with the restaurant that earned it.

Side-by-side pages

Each page walks through features, pricing shape, and a fair point where the other product may fit better today.

Pricing questions

Same answers as on pricing. The FAQ structured data lives only on that page.

What does Fulton Platform cost?

Fulton Platform is $149 per month plus a 2% Fulton Rewards contribution on eligible order value. It is month to month, with no setup fee and no fee added to your guests’ orders. Card-processing fees are separate.

What is the 2% Fulton Rewards contribution?

It is the second part of the Fulton Platform price: 2% of eligible order value, shown as its own line. It is intended to fund Fulton Rewards, which is coming. Fulton Stars will give customers a platform-wide rewards balance across participating restaurants.

Is the 2% a Fulton Platform commission?

It is shown as its own line, separate from the $149 subscription, so you can see exactly what you contribute. It is calculated as 2% of eligible order value and is intended to fund Fulton Rewards when it launches.

Can restaurants have their own rewards program?

Yes. Restaurant-specific rewards are included today. They are controlled by your restaurant and can only be redeemed with you, and they stay separate from Fulton Rewards.

Will customers be able to use Fulton Stars at other restaurants?

Fulton Rewards is coming. When it launches, Fulton Stars are intended to work across participating Fulton Platform restaurants. Restaurant-specific rewards available today remain separate.

Are card-processing fees included?

No. Payment-processing fees are separate. Live card payments are still coming, and processing rates will be shown before you turn payments on.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Fulton Platform is month to month with no setup fee and no long-term contract. Cancel anytime.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Connect the domain you already own and your site runs on it. Fulton Platform shows you the DNS records to add; it never changes your DNS for you.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

There is one plan, and it is month to month, so you can cancel anytime.

What features are coming later?

Fulton Rewards (Fulton Stars), in-store kiosk, POS sync, delivery, a branded app, email and text campaigns, push notifications, local listings and live card payments are all still coming. Only the features listed under Included today are available now.

Does Fulton Platform replace DoorDash or Uber Eats?

Fulton Platform is built for direct ordering on your site so you keep more of each order. It focuses on pickup ordering today. Live card payments and delivery are still coming. Marketplace apps can still run alongside while you grow direct orders.

Your restaurant. Your domain.
